In Thursday's league outing, the visiting Horizon Huskies softball team scored a nice 17-5 win over the Desert Mountain Wolves.

Coming up next, the Huskies encounter the McClintock Chargers (Tempe, AZ) in a 5A Northeast Valley outing, on Wednesday, April 7. Horizon will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Chargers enter the outing with a 0-6 record after their 21-0 non-league loss to Canyon View (Waddell, AZ).

The Wolves (4-4) will now prepare for their outing against Arcadia (Phoenix, AZ). The Titans enter the 5A Northeast Valley outing with a 4-4 record. In their last outing, Arcadia was routed by Paradise Valley (Phoenix, AZ), 12-2, in a league outing.
