South Carolina High School Basketball - Archer trounces Summerville
January 21, 2019: Summerville, SC 29483 The Archer Tigers (Lawrenceville, GA) basketball crushed the host Summerville Green Wave (Summerville, SC), 62-31 in Monday's non-league test.
The Tigers (11-11) will now prepare for their test against South Gwinnett (Snellville, GA). The Comets go into the AAAAAAA Region 8 test with a 13-9 record. In their last test, South Gwinnett was trounced by Newton (Covington, GA), 49-36, in a league test.
The Green Wave now own a 10-9 record. They play next when they travel to Fort Dorchester for a AAAAA Region VIII test on Wednesday, January 23. Summerville will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 59-53 league win over Ashley Ridge (Summerville, SC). The Patriots record now stands at 8-10.
