The Perkins County Plainsmen basketball team (Grant, NE), was overwhelmed 62-8 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Hershey Panthers (Hershey, NE)

The Panthers now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gothenburg for a non-league battle on Friday, November 30. Hershey will confront a Swedes team coming off a 39-30 non-league loss to Lexington (Lexington, NE). The Swedes record now stands at 0-1.

The Plainsmen (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Wray (Wray, CO). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
