The Irvine Vaqueros softball squad (Irvine, CA), was routed 13-6 in Tuesday's non-league contest with the host Fountain Valley Barons (Fountain Valley, CA)

With the triumph, Fountain Valley improves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Barons host Sunny Hills (Fullerton, CA) to face the Lancers in a non-league contest on Wednesday, February 26. The Lancers enter the contest with a record of 2-1. Sunny Hills won 13-5 in their recent non-league contest against Valencia (Placentia, CA)

The Vaqueros now hold a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Granada Hills Charter for a non-league contest on Saturday, March 1. Irvine will face a Highlanders squad coming off a 10-6 non-league win over Agoura (Agoura, CA). The Highlanders record now stands at 3-1.
