The Atoka Wampus Cats football squad (Atoka, OK), was outscored 34-7 in Friday's league contest with the host Wilburton Diggers (Wilburton, OK)

The Diggers (4-0) will now prepare for their contest against Henryetta (Henryetta, OK). The Knights enter the 2A-II District 4 contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Henryetta gained a win over Morris (Morris, OK), 35-26, in a league contest.

Next up, the Wampus Cats encounter the Valliant Bulldogs (Valliant, OK) in a 2A-II District 4 bout, on Thursday, October 16. Atoka will attempt to advance on its 0-4 season record.
