In Saturday's non-league outing, the North Mecklenburg Vikings (Huntersville, NC) basketball squad beat the visiting Mount Tabor Spartans (Winston-Salem, NC), by a count of 63-52.

The Vikings (26-4) will now prepare for their outing against Myers Park (Charlotte, NC). The Mustangs go into the non-league outing with a 17-8 record. In their last outing, Myers Park defeated Northern Guilford (Greensboro, NC), 56-50, in a non-league outing.

The Spartans now hold a 20-9 record.
