The Huss Huskies walloped the visiting Patton Panthers football team by a count of 49-0 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Huss upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Huskies travel to Cox Mill (Concord, NC) to encounter the Chargers in a non-league outing on Friday, August 24. The Chargers go into the outing with a record of 0-1. Cox Mill lost 46-40 in their recent non-league outing against Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC)

With the loss, Patton moves to 0-1 on the season. The Panthers travel to R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC) to encounter the Hilltoppers in a non-league outing on Friday, August 24. The Hilltoppers go into the outing with a record of 0-1. R-S Central lost 22-7 in their recent non-league outing against McDowell (Marion, NC)
