The Ripley Tigers edged the visiting Gibson County Pioneers softball squad by a count of 10-9 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Tigers meet the Westview Chargers (Martin, TN) in a 2A District 14 challenge, on Thursday, April 17. Ripley will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record. The Chargers enter the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 8-3 non-league loss to South Gibson (Medina, TN).

The Pioneers (2-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Peabody (Trenton, TN). The Golden Tide enter the 2A District 14 challenge with a 8-7 record. In their last challenge, Peabody edged Union City (Union City, TN), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.
