Central Catholic Vikings (Pittsburgh, PA) fans left the game satisfied Friday as they observed their football team rout the visiting North Allegheny Tigers (Wexford, PA), 55-14 in a league test.

With the win, Central Catholic improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Vikings host Hempfield Area (Greensburg, PA) to confront the Spartans in a non-league test on Friday, September 16. The Spartans go into the test with a record of 3-0. Hempfield Area won 41-38 in their recent league test against Mt. Lebanon (Pittsburgh, PA)

With the loss, North Allegheny moves to 1-2 on the season. The Tigers host Shaler Area (Pittsburgh, PA) to confront the Titans in a WPIAL 6A 1 test on Friday, September 16. The Titans go into the test with a record of 0-3. Shaler Area lost 36-0 in their recent non-league test against Norwin (North Huntingdon, PA)
