The High Plains Storm basketball team (Polk, NE), was toppled 60-41 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Shelby-Rising City Huskies (Shelby, NE)

The Huskies now possess a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host McCool Junction for a D1 District 2 battle on Tuesday, January 3.

The Storm (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against Palmyra (Palmyra, NE). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 1-7 record. In their last battle, Palmyra beat Sterling (Sterling, NE), 37-33, in a non-league battle.
