California High School Basketball - Imperial fells Cibola

January 13, 2020: Imperial, CA 92251

Imperial Tigers (Imperial, CA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Cibola Raiders (Yuma, AZ), 43-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Imperial upgrades its record to 11-7 on the season. The Tigers travel to Southwest EC (El Centro, CA) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 14. The Eagles enter the contest with a record of 12-6. Southwest EC lost 44-25 in their recent non-league contest against Cibola (Yuma, AZ)

The Raiders (14-2) will now prepare for their contest against Skyline (Mesa, AZ). The Coyotes enter the non-league contest with a 7-12 record. In their last contest, Skyline was outscored by Dobson (Mesa, AZ), 60-33, in a league contest.
