August 31, 2018: Moline, IL 61265 The Moline Maroons football team (Moline, IL), was beaten 28-14 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Benet Academy Redwings (Lisle, IL)
The Redwings (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Patrick (Chicago, IL). The Shamrocks come into the East Suburban Catholic challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, St. Patrick achieved victory over Glenbrook South (Glenview, IL), 28-7, in a non-league challenge.
The Maroons now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Rich South for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 7. Moline will meet a Stars team coming off a 52-0 non-league loss to Hillcrest (Country Club Hills, IL). The Stars record now stands at 0-2.
