The Mountain Island Charter Raptor football team (Mt. Holly, NC), was tipped 32-27 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy Gryphons (Mooresboro, NC)
The Gryphons (10-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Union Academy (Monroe, NC). The Cardinals come into the Southern Piedmont 1A challenge with a 3-6 record.
The Raptor now sport a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Highland School of Technology for a Southern Piedmont 1A challenge on Friday, November 2.
