Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Sahuaro Cougars (Tucson, AZ) and the visiting Sahuarita Mustangs (Sahuarita, AZ), saw Sahuaro's basketball squad wallop Sahuarita by a tally of 52-26.

With the victory, Sahuaro improves its record to 19-4 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Cholla (Tucson, AZ) to confront the Chargers in a 4A Kino challenge on Friday, February 4. The Chargers come into the challenge with a record of 1-12. Cholla lost 84-7 in their recent league challenge against Salpointe Catholic (Tucson, AZ)

Next up, the Mustangs confront the Walden Grove Red Wolves (Sahuarita, AZ) in a 4A Gila challenge, on Monday, February 7. Sahuarita will attempt to improve on its 15-8 season record. The Red Wolves come into the challenge with a 3-20 record after their 61-16 non-league loss to Rincon/University (Tucson, AZ).
