Ojiugo Egeonu has been named player of the year. "As a Sophomore, Ojiugo, the Lady Eagles star center, averaged 21.5 Points per game (38th in the state), 14.7 Rebounds per game (14th in State), and 5.8 Blocks Per Game (21st in the Nation.) Ojiugo helped capture the Lady Eagles' first BACSAC championship and was named finals MVP. Her team also placed second in the CIF-Oakland Section Basketball Championship. In addiiton to her first league MVP, Ojiugo is a 2x BACSAC first team center. Ojiugo's top performance of the year came in a win against Oakland High in the CIF-Oakland Section Semifinals, where she displayed a 38 point, 12 rebound, and 6 block dominant performance. "
