Coby Newton has been named player of the year. "Coby is a great young man and has all the physical and mental abilities to play at the next level. What you would get from Coby Newton is a player that is 100% committed to football and school; this year he has 158 carries for 1018 regular season yards. The best thing about Coby is that he has the "Heart of a Loin" and will always give you effort and commitment. This past weekend game was our 1st round of the Nevada State HS Football playoffs and Coby had a great game and leading us to the victory, he had 18 carries for 188 yards and 5 TD. "
