Rachel Blocher has been named player of the year. "Rachel Blocher has been selected as the Cupertino Player of the Year. Rachel put together an all-around solid performance both on and off the court this past season. As a co-captain, she did a good job keeping the team focused and cohesive. She was the point and ace leader this season, along with being 2nd on the team in kills. She hit from several different positions on the court, and played her best volleyball in difficult situations. She was selected for her 2nd all-league team, along with being named the team MVP. Rachel came a long way during her four years in the program. The coaching staff appreciates her hard work, and wishes her all the best in the years to follow. "
