Rio Dudgeon has been named player of the year. "Rio Dudgeon: Rio is a 6'0" 4 year varsity starting senior forward for us who just finished her outstanding career at Dakota. This year Rio averaged 12.2 ppg, 5.3 rebounds, 2.2 steals, 2.0 assists, 88% free throws, & 3.5 blocks this season. Rio has signed to attend Oakland University on a basketball scholarship. Rio also finished with 184 total three-pointers in her career which is 14th in the MHSAA record books for most career three-pointers. Rio was also one of three players that was nominated out to the state of Michigan to be a McDonald's All-American. Rio was All MAC Red 1st Team. "
