Amaya Simon has been named player of the year. "A'Maya Simon was our go to player and she was the one that made the plays on the defensive end all season for us. Amaya led us in scoring at 12.1 ppg, steals at 2.7 spg. She also average 3.3 rpg, 2.3 aspg. Amaya had a total of 338 points, 93 rebounds, 63 assist, 76 steals this season. I can not talk enough about her defense. She always guarded the other team best guard every night and she played every minute almost every game. A'Maya Simon - Senior Guard led us TCCHS to the Sweet 16 this season. 1st time since 2005. What a season!!!!!"
