Tori Finucane has been named player of the year. "Tori owns a 26-1 record overall, with an ERA of 0.21 (just five earned runs surrendered in 164 innings pitched). She had 341 strikeouts in 164 innings pitched, 31 walks and pitched 21 shutouts. She has pitched 3 perfect games and another 5 no-hitters. Opponents are hitting just .074 against her. Tori is the team's leading hitter with a .554 BA, has a team-high 7 3Bs and is tied for the lead in 2Bs with 8. She is second only to Jillian Ferraro with 6 HRs and 45 RBIs. She has an amazing 1.054 slugging percentage (team high) and second only to Ferraro in on base percentage (.628). She has no errors in 31 chances. In her two years at Bishop O'Connell HS, she has a 55-2 record and topped the 300 mark in strikeouts both years, establishing a new single season school record for strikeouts each year. She also has 4 perfect games and eight no-hitters in two years at DJO. I have coached this sport for over 40 years and Tori Finucane is as good as it gets. "
