Bridget Oder has been named player of the year. "Bridget had an exceptional Senior Year and it was culminated by being named 1st Team All-League (KMAC), 1st Team Central District and 1st Team All-Ohio. She was also honored by being named to the District All-Star Match and the State All-Star Match. Bridget was not only a defensive wiz, but also led the team in serving this year with 58 Aces and at 95.8%. As for defense, she added to her record setting stats with 532 Digs to finish out her career with a school record 1,975! She was 306/315 in Serve Receiving (97.1%). For her career she was 1493/1563 (95.5%) Bridget will leave Highland HS as a 4 Year Starter (all as Libero) and Captain her Jr. & Sr. Years. She holds the Match Record for Digs (48 vs. Bishop Hartley this year), Season Record for Digs (546 in 2016) and Career Record for Digs with 1,975. Congratulation Bridget! You will be missed!"
