Morgan Johnson has been named player of the year. "Morgan is a 4 year letter for the Desoto Volleyball Program, she is an outstanding student athlete, she is # 13 in a class of 573. She has been dedicated to volleyball starting her club play in the 7th grade with Texas Advantage Volleyball Club. She is a two year captain and has helped carry the team to a district championship and hopefully a successful run in the play offs. Morgan is an upstanding athlete and a more upstanding student. She will be attending University of Texas @ Austin on a Full Athletic Volleyball Scholarship.
