Caitlin Leggett has been named player of the year. "Congratulations to Caitlin for having an amazing 2017-18 varsity season, and for being a Finalist for Conference Player of the Year. Caitlin had an awesome year that's most deserving of recognition. She finished the season ranked #1 outside hitter in hitting percentage (.429) in NC Class 1A, with a 50% kill percentage; and #2 overall in hitting percentage. Her conference stats were equally outstanding (#1 in hitting percentage; #2 in kills; #2 in digs; #5 in blocks; and #9 in aces). Her relentless effort and all-around exceptional performance on the court helped keep us in every match, remain among the conference leaders, along with make the state playoffs this year. Caitlin's leadership was immeasurable for our team. She was simply a joy to coach all season long. "
