Hello, my name is Joshua De La Cruz Jr and I am a linebacker and running back for Clovis East High School in Clovis, Ca. I aspire to play football for a D1 college and major in Engineering while in college. One thing that sets me ahead of my peers is the “hard work”. On the field, I am a leader who strives to inspire and elevate my teammates. Off the field, I work on strength and conditioning everyday at 5 am. After football practice, I focus on speed training 3x’s a week. I also challenge myself academically and tutor my teammates who are struggling in English and Math. Tutoring others helps me retain the material and give me satisfaction that I am helping my team.
