Mitch Lightfoot has been named player of the year. "Mitchell Lightfoot had a great senior campaign leading Gilbert Christian to a Sectional Championship and a top ten finish in the final regular season rankings. He was the leader in points, rebounds and blocked shots. He was recognized as the player of the year in Division II Section VI and was named to the first team All-State. Mitch has earned a basketball scholarship to Kansas University to continue his career."
