Faith Lowry has been named player of the year. "Faith led the team in almost every offense category. Faith ability as a left-handed slapper is evident in her impressive batting average of 0.604. Because of her ability to get on base 62% of the time, she scored 84 runs, which leads MaxPreps. Just because she is a slapper does not mean she can't hit extra base hits. She leads the team in both doubles (16) and triples (6). I think the most impressive stat is she has stolen 74 out of 75 bases, which ranks third in MaxPreps. Defensively Faith has locked down centerfield; however, because of an injury, Faith had to step out of her normal routine and play shortstop for about 12 games this season. This shows her versatility. "
