California High School Football - Esperanza routs Tesoro
September 29, 2006: Anaheim, CA 92807 Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Esperanza Aztecs (Anaheim, CA) and the visiting Tesoro Titans (Las Flores, CA), saw Esperanza's football team rout Tesoro by a tally of 42-0.
The Aztecs (5-0) will now prepare for their match against Newport Harbor (Newport Beach, CA). The Sailors come into the Sunset match with a 3-2 record. In their last match, Newport Harbor routed Mira Costa (Manhattan Beach, CA), 24-0, in a non-league challenge.
With the defeat, Tesoro moves to 0-4 on the campaign. The Titans travel to El Toro (Lake Forest, CA) to clash with the Chargers in a non-league challenge on Friday, October 6. The Chargers go into the challenge with a record of 2-2. El Toro lost 45-14 in their recent non-league challenge against San Clemente (San Clemente, CA)
