South Dakota High School Football - Watertown crushed by Washington
October 3, 2008: Sioux Falls, SD 57110 In Friday's non-league challenge, the Washington Warriors (Sioux Falls, SD) football team overwhelmed the visiting Watertown Arrows (Watertown, SD), by a score of 35-3.
The Warriors (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Stevens (Rapid City, SD). The Raiders come into the Greater Dakota challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Stevens was ripped by Huron (Huron, SD), 28-13, in a non-league challenge.
The Arrows now sport a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mitchell/Mitchell Christian for a Eastern South Dakota challenge on Friday, October 10. Watertown will meet a Kernels team coming off a 35-6 league loss to Brandon Valley (Brandon, SD). The Kernels record now stands at 1-5.
