September 25, 2008: Springfield, MO 65807 In Thursday's league match, the host Kickapoo Chiefs football squad scored a close 25-24 victory over the Lebanon Yellowjackets.
In their next game, the Chiefs clash with the Glendale Falcons (Springfield, MO) in a Ozarks match, on Friday, October 3. Kickapoo will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Falcons enter the match with a 0-5 record after their 39-23 league loss to Waynesville (Waynesville, MO).
The Yellowjackets (3-2) will now prepare for their match against Hillcrest (Springfield, MO). The Hornets enter the Ozarks match with a 1-4 record. In their last match, Hillcrest was nudged by Parkview (Springfield, MO), 39-36, in a league match.
