The Boron Bobcats held off the host Kern Valley Broncs football squad by a final score of 34-31 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Bobcats now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rosamond for a non-league outing on Friday, September 15. Boron will confront a Roadrunners squad coming off a 12-7 non-league win over Quartz Hill (Quartz Hill, CA). The Roadrunners record now stands at 1-0.
