October 14, 2005: Lakeland, FL 33805 Kathleen Red Devils (Lakeland, FL) fans were pleased Friday as they witnessed their football team trounce the visiting Haines City Hornets (Haines City, FL), 35-0 in a league game.
The Red Devils (8-0) will now prepare for their game against Manatee (Bradenton, FL). The Hurricanes enter the non-league game with a 4-3 record. In their last game, Manatee trounced Charlotte (Bradenton, FL), 49-20, in a league game.
Next up, the Hornets meet the Hardee Wildcats (Wauchula, FL) in a non-league game, on Friday, October 21. Haines City will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Wildcats enter the game with a 7-0 record after their 27-7 league win over Avon Park (Wauchula, FL).
