Kentucky High School Football - Pineville bests Betsy Layne
September 30, 2006: Pineville, KY 40977 Fans at Saturday's non-league match between the Pineville Mountain Lions (Pineville, KY) and the visiting Betsy Layne Bobcats (Betsy Layne, KY), witnessed Pineville's football team top Betsy Layne by a tally of 42-14.
The Mountain Lions (3-3) will now prepare for their match against Cumberland (Cumberland, KY). The Redskins enter the A District 7 match with a 4-2 record. In their last match, Cumberland topped Walker (Ewing, VA), 40-0, in a non-league match.
The Bobcats (1-6) will now prepare for their match against Haysi (Haysi, VA). The Tigers enter the non-league match with a 4-0 record. In their last match, Haysi topped Twin Valley (Pilgrims Knob, VA), 35-0, in a league match.
