October 28, 2005: Southbury, CT 06488 The Pomperaug Panthers football team scored 31 points and held the visiting Stratford Red Devils to 14 in the Panthers league win on Friday.
The Panthers now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Bethel for a SWC Colonial game on Friday, November 4. Pomperaug will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 29-6 league win over New Fairfield (Bethel, CT). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-6.
With the loss, Stratford falls to 3-4 on the season. The Red devils host Notre Dame Catholic (Fairfield, CT) to meet the Lancers in a SWC Colonial game on Friday, November 4. The Lancers enter the game with a record of 5-1. Notre Dame Catholic won 58-3 in their recent non-league game against Weston (Weston, CT)
