September 13, 2008: New Castle, PA 16101 Neshannock Lancers (New Castle, PA) fans left the game content Saturday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Shenango Wildcats (New Castle, PA), 32-13 in a league test.
With the triumph, Neshannock improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Lancers host Laurel (New Castle, PA) to meet the Spartans in a WPIAL A Big Seven game on Friday, September 19. The Spartans come into the game with a record of 1-2. Laurel won 27-21 in their recent league game against South Side (Hookstown, PA)
The Wildcats now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Monaca for a WPIAL A Big Seven game on Friday, September 19. Shenango will meet a Indians team coming off a 18-0 league loss to Western Beaver (Industry, PA). The Indians record now stands at 2-1.
