Virginia High School Football - Tunstall trounced by Washington
September 2, 2005: Dry Fork, VA 24549 The Washington Eagles football team scored 49 points and held the host Tunstall Trojans to 14 in the Eagles non-league win on Friday.
The Eagles (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Page (Greensboro, NC). The Pirates enter the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Page was trounced by Western Guilford (Greensboro, NC), 18-6, in a non-league game.
The Trojans now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Gretna for a non-league game on Friday, September 16. Tunstall will meet a Hawks team coming off a 52-12 non-league loss to Fort Defiance (Gretna, VA). The Hawks record now stands at 2-0.
