Ohio High School Football - Valley succumbs to Portsmouth West
October 20, 2006: Lucasville, OH 45648 Portsmouth West Senators (West Portsmouth, OH) supporters exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they observed their football squad thwart the host Valley Indians (Lucasville, OH), 28-12 in a league challenge.
The Senators now hold a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they host Wheelersburg for a Southern Ohio II challenge on Friday, October 27. Portsmouth West will clash with a Pirates squad coming off a 26-0 league win over Minford (Minford, OH). The Pirates record now stands at 5-4.
With the defeat, Valley moves to 5-4 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Minford (Minford, OH) to clash with the Falcons in a Southern Ohio II challenge on Friday, October 27. The Falcons go into the challenge with a record of 4-5. Minford lost 26-0 in their recent league challenge against Wheelersburg (Wheelersburg, OH)
