Arizona High School Football - Blue Ridge triumphant over Florence
September 8, 2006: Lakeside, AZ 85929 In Friday's non-league test, the host Blue Ridge Yellow Jackets football squad scored a decisive 57-12 triumph over the Florence Gophers.
With the triumph, Blue Ridge upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Yellow Jackets host Alchesay (Whiteriver, AZ) to clash with the Falcons in a 3A East test on Friday, September 15. The Falcons go into the test with a record of 3-0. Alchesay lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Ganado (Ganado, AZ)
Next, the Gophers clash with the Globe Tigers (Globe, AZ) in a 3A South test, on Friday, September 15. Florence will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Tigers go into the test with a 3-0 record after their 44-18 non-league win over Miami (Miami, AZ).
