Kentucky High School Football - Union County edged by Caldwell County
September 2, 2005: Princeton, KY 42445 The Caldwell County Tigers football team scored 27 points and held the visiting Union County Braves to 26 in the Tigers non-league win on Friday.
The Tigers (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Lone Oak (Paducah, KY). The Purple Flash enter the 2A District 1 game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Lone Oak was edged by Marshall County (Paducah, KY), 34-20, in a non-league game.
The Braves now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Crittenden County for a non-league game on Friday, September 9. Union County will meet a Rockets team coming off a 41-12 non-league loss to Logan County (Marion, KY). The Rockets record now stands at 1-1.
