Parkview Panthers (Lilburn, GA) fans were pleased Friday as they witnessed their football team notch a victory over the host South Gwinnett Comets (Snellville, GA), 21-6 in a league game.

The Panthers (5-2) will now prepare for their game against Meadowcreek (Norcross, GA). The Mustangs enter the 8-AAAAA game with a 0-7 record. In their last game, Meadowcreek lost by Shiloh (Norcross, GA), 17-3, in a league game.

Next up, the Comets meet the Central Gwinnett Black Knights (Lawrenceville, GA) in a 8-AAAAA game, on Friday, October 14. South Gwinnett will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Black Knights enter the game with a 5-2 record after their 17-6 league loss to Brookwood (Lawrenceville, GA).
