Illinois High School Football - Our Lady of the Lakes bests Luther South

Fans at Saturday's non-league test between the Our Lady of the Lakes Lakers (Waterford, MI) and the host Luther South Braves (Chicago, IL), observed Our Lady of the Lakes's football squad gain a win over Luther South by a count of 29-0.

With the triumph, Our Lady of the Lakes upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Lakers travel to Whitmore Lake (Whitmore Lake, MI) to battle the Trojans in a non-league test on Thursday, August 31. The Trojans go into the test with a record of 0-1. Whitmore Lake lost 21-17 in their recent non-league test against Richard (Ann Arbor, MI)

Next, the Braves battle the Mooseheart Red Ramblers (Mooseheart, IL) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 2. Luther South will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Red Ramblers go into the test with a 1-0 record after their 41-20 non-league win over Hoopeston (Hoopeston, IL).
