California High School Football - Valencia succumbs to Centennial
September 1, 2006: Valencia, CA 91355 Centennial Huskies (Corona, CA) supporters exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they observed their football squad thwart the host Valencia Vikings (Valencia, CA), 46-35 in a non-league challenge.
The Huskies now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to King for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 8. Centennial will clash with a Wolves squad coming off a 14-7 non-league win over Yucaipa (Yucaipa, CA). The Wolves record now stands at 1-0.
With the defeat, Valencia moves to 0-1 on the campaign. The Vikings host Bishop Amat (La Puente, CA) to battle the Lancers in a non-league battle on Friday, September 8. The Lancers come into the battle with a record of 1-0. Bishop Amat won 26-23 in their recent non-league battle against St. Paul (Santa Fe Springs, CA)
