September 2, 2005: Bowling Green, KY 42104 The Bowling Green Purples football team scored 14 points and held the visiting Warren Central Dragons to 6 in the Purples non-league win on Friday.
The Purples (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Greenwood (Bowling Green, KY). The Gators enter the non-league game with a 0-3 record. In their last game, Greenwood lost by Ohio County (Bowling Green, KY), 20-17, in a non-league game.
The Dragons now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to DuPont Manual for a non-league game on Friday, September 9. Warren Central will meet a Crimsons team coming off a 38-34 non-league loss to Trinity (Louisville, KY). The Crimsons record now stands at 2-1.
