Ohio High School Football - Northmont trounces Butler
September 30, 2005: Vandalia, OH 45377 Northmont Thunderbolts (Clayton, OH) fans were pleased Friday as they witnessed their football team trounce the host Butler Aviators (Vandalia, OH), 42-9 in a league game.
The Thunderbolts (5-1) will now prepare for their game against Miamisburg (Miamisburg, OH). The Vikings enter the non-league game with a 1-5 record. In their last game, Miamisburg was trounced by Springboro (Miamisburg, OH), 28-21, in a league game.
Next up, the Aviators meet the Xenia Buccaneers (Xenia, OH) in a non-league game, on Friday, October 7. Butler will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Buccaneers enter the game with a 3-3 record after their 35-21 league loss to North (Xenia, OH).
