Kentucky High School Football - Daviess County loses to Owensboro Catholic
September 8, 2006: Owensboro, KY 42301 The Owensboro Catholic Aces football squad scored 35 points and limited the visiting Daviess County Panthers to 19 in the Aces non-league victory on Friday.
With the victory, Owensboro Catholic upgrades its record to 1-3 on the year. The Aces travel to Butler County (Morgantown, KY) to battle the Bears in a 2A District 2 battle on Friday, September 15. The Bears come into the battle with a record of 2-1. Butler County won 29-8 in their recent league battle against Todd County Central (Elkton, KY)
Next, the Panthers battle the Warren Central Dragons (Bowling Green, KY) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 15. Daviess County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Dragons come into the battle with a 2-2 record after their 40-27 non-league loss to DuPont Manual (Louisville, KY).
