October 14, 2005: Bethel, OH 45106 East Clinton Astros (Lees Creek, OH) fans were pleased Friday as they witnessed their football team notch a victory over the host Bethel-Tate Tigers (Bethel, OH), 19-0 in a non-league game.
The Astros (7-1) will now prepare for their game against Blanchester (Blanchester, OH). The Wildcats enter the Southern Buckeye - National game with a 6-2 record. In their last game, Blanchester notched a victory over Goshen (Blanchester, OH), 20-0, in a non-league game.
Next up, the Tigers meet the New Richmond Lions (New Richmond, OH) in a Southern Buckeye - American game, on Friday, October 21. Bethel-Tate will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record. The Lions enter the game with a 4-4 record after their 35-14 non-league win over Batavia (New Richmond, OH).
