August 22, 2008: Fortville, IN 46040 Kokomo Wildkats (Kokomo, IN) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team rout the host Mt. Vernon Marauders (Fortville, IN), 43-7 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Kokomo improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Wildkats travel to Coldwater (Coldwater, OH) to battle the Cavaliers in a non-league test on Friday, August 29. The Cavaliers come into the test with a record of 1-0. Coldwater won 58-19 in their recent non-league test against Kenton (Kenton, OH)
With the loss, Mt. Vernon drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Marauders travel to Yorktown (Yorktown, IN) to battle the Tigers in a Hoosier Heritage challenge on Friday, August 29. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Yorktown won 28-17 in their recent league challenge against Pendleton Heights (Pendleton, IN)
