Georgia High School Football - Collins Hill held off by Tift County
September 9, 2006: Suwanee, GA 30024 The Tift County Blue Devils held off the host Collins Hill Screaming Eagles football squad by a final score of 7-2 in Saturday's non-league outing.
The Blue Devils now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Americus-Sumter for a non-league outing on Friday, September 15. Tift County will confront a Panthers squad coming off a 34-12 non-league loss to Brooks County (Quitman, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 1-1.
With the defeat, Collins Hill moves to 1-1 on the campaign. The Screaming eagles host Peachtree Ridge (Suwanee, GA) to confront the Lions in a 7-AAAAA outing on Friday, September 15. The Lions go into the outing with a record of 2-0. Peachtree Ridge won 9-0 in their recent non-league outing against Grayson (Loganville, GA)
