Florida High School Football - Lyman held off by Lake Howell
September 29, 2006: Longwood, FL 32750 The Lake Howell Silver Hawks held off the host Lyman Greyhounds football squad by a final score of 14-13 in Friday's league outing.
The Silver Hawks now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mainland for a 5A District 3 outing on Friday, October 13. Lake Howell will confront a Buccaneers squad coming off a 35-0 non-league win over Seminole (Sanford, FL). The Buccaneers record now stands at 7-0.
With the defeat, Lyman moves to 0-6 on the campaign. The Greyhounds travel to Pine Ridge (Deltona, FL) to confront the Panthers in a 5A District 3 outing on Friday, October 13. The Panthers go into the outing with a record of 1-5. Pine Ridge lost 36-0 in their recent non-league outing against DeLand (DeLand, FL)
