September 27, 2008: Deerfield, MA 01342 Deerfield Academy Big Green (Deerfield, MA) fans left the game content Saturday as they saw their football team rout the visiting Taft Big Red (Watertown, CT), 43-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Deerfield Academy improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Big Green travel to Hotchkiss (Lakeville, CT) to battle the Bearcats in a non-league test on Saturday, October 4. The Bearcats come into the test with a record of 2-0. Hotchkiss won 35-0 in their recent league test against Loomis Chaffee (Windsor, CT)
With the loss, Taft drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Big red host Salisbury School (Salisbury, CT) to battle the Knights in a Erickson test on Saturday, October 4. The Knights come into the test with a record of 1-1. Salisbury School won 27-0 in their recent league test against Avon Old Farms (Avon, CT)
