The Kohala Cowboys football team (Kapaau, HI), was beaten 14-6 in Saturday's league challenge with the visiting Hawaii Prep Ka Makani (Kamuela, HI)

The Ka Makani (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Kamehameha Hawai'i (Kea'au, HI). The Warriors come into the Big Island II challenge with a 2-6 record.

The Cowboys now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Konawaena for a Big Island II challenge on Friday, October 17. Kohala will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 40-0 league win over Ka'u (Pahala, HI). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-1.
